Will Egypt's protesters learn from Ukraine? No, we never learn :(

After revolutionary euphoria fades and normality returns, democratic revolutions can be betrayed and reversed.
Thus writes Ukraine's former prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, while commenting on what lessons the Ukrainian "Orange" Revolution can teach the protesters in Egypt.  Of course, we need to keep in mind that Tymoshenko has an axe or two to grind in this context.  Nonetheless, some of the points she makes, including that quote, are valid.

Despite Mubarak refusing to quit, it seems increasingly the case that his days as Egypt's president are not going to be too many.  The question then is about the day after.  Which is why Cassandra's Tymoshenko's observations matter.

Oh well ... Last weekend I had invited for dinner a visiting Ukrainian environmental attorney and her host.  So, all the more the reason for Tymoshenko's opinion to trigger the following video
