Gender in higher education

I wonder if gender studies at universities have started recognizing the trends shown in the two graphs here:

Assuming that the Source is right, of course.

Hey!

Until I completed high school, I grew up in a small industrial town called Neyveli, which is about 200 kilometers south of Madras (Chennai, India. Not Madras, Oregon!). Dad was an engineer with the only game in town--NLC. K-12 was at Jawahar Higher Secondary School (JHSS), which provided me with a fantastic foundation.

I then went to Coimbatore, where I earned my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. Didn't care for the college nor for engineering. Spent short stints at HRL, Adyar Park, and Indian Oxygen, before coming to USC for graduate studies.

Lived and worked in Bakersfield for a long time. Am now a faculty member at Western Oregon University
