The old fort still stands and there is now a heritage hotel too - so it may be a nice place to spend a day or two. Except that I can't afford it and you need a Professor's dollar salary to go there :):)<br /><br />Nicobar is no surprise being in India. The British "owned" Nicobar while the Dutch had Aceh.
