Welcome!

Until I completed high school, I grew up in a small industrial town called Neyveli, which is about 200 kilometers south of Madras (Chennai). Dad was an engineer with the only game in town--NLC. K-12 was at Jawahar Higher Secondary School (JHSS), which provided me with a fantastic foundation.
Then I went to Coimbatore, where I earned my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. Didn't care for the college nor for engineering. And then I spent short stints at HRL, Adyar Park, and Indian Oxygen, before coming to USC for graduate studies.
Lived and worked in Bakersfield for a long time. Am now a faculty member at Western Oregon University
